Professor, Lebanon Valley College

Lou Manza's teaching interests include cognitive processes, research design & analysis, the history of psychology, and paranormal/pseudoscientific phenomena.
His research interests focus on questions related to understanding (a) how people develop various perspectives on paranormal and pseudoscientific beliefs, (b) processes and thoughts underlying academic perseverance and consistency, and (c) attitudes, behaviors, and demographic variables related to writing-based communication skills. Dr. Manza is a member of the Association for Psychological Science, the Eastern Psychological Association, and Division 2 of the American Psychological Association (Teaching of Psychology).
